A day with the Fishes and the Goats

Template is a gibbled - I know - but I dont know why. Need to work on this.
I have been having problems with Blogger of late and am not sure what to do about it.
One of my personal problems is that I just love this template so I am not sure what to do.

Just to give you the heads up there will be some HUGE news on Monday so stay tuned - probably wont go up until late though because I have my midterm exam that I have to do first - eek!

So today the weather held out - tomorrow will be bad. It was dads birthday today. We had dinner and a cake tonight. He had plans with my brother this afternoon so I headed out with ToddlerJi and my friend Cheri and had a LOVELY afternoon.

First we went to the fish hatchery over near Hemlock Valley to see the spawning fish - very cool.

Their fins look like mini sharks in the water - it was kind of neat. I dont recal ever having been there before - maybe in elementary school - and I am glad I went. I have never seen salmon spawning before in real life (TV ya) and it was neat.

Got to see them jumping around as well.

Then we decided to head over to the Kilby Museum and that was a real treat.
The first thing I noticed was this tea canister that my mother had donated YEARS and YEARS ago. It is kind of weird - I know that I had been there before when I was a young kid but the only memory, and very clear memory, is of my mother giving them this tea pot to add to their collection. Too cool that it is still there.
It is the Malkins Best tea, second from the right.

Then there were the animals that had ToddlerJi all giddy and loving every second of the museum.
The Bronze turkeys that begged to be fed:

The four pronged goat:

And the bunnies:

We fed them - of course.

This video is brilliant - it is of ToddlerJi feeding the goats and the turkeys. I love it!!

After we went home and I had a pretty tired girl on my hands - grandpas birthday cake woke her up though.
