They are gone!!

They had their showers, ironed their travel clothes, packed the last of their things and took it all to the bottom of the stairs.
Except that Li forgot to close his suitcase and dumped EVERYTHING all over the floor.
Total knee slapping giggles for mom and I. Baby face pout from Li.

They caught the train, are on the bullet train to the airport as I write and will be checking-in in less than 2 hours. Then it is off to Shanghai.
JiXiang woke up just in time from her morning nap to walk to the station with mom and Li. She gave them a kiss and a sortof wave goodbye.
Then it was off to the supermarket for me.
I have no chef for a whole week!!
I don’t cook, usually, and needed to buy food that was fast, tasty, and preferably microwavable. I also splurged on some overly priced steak. It was quite fun walking around the store. For the first time in a long time I could buy food that Li would never even consider eating and that I have never eaten but have wanted to.
Ohhh hoooo
And tonight I am having KFC for dinner.
Why?
Because I can and there aint nobody around to go,
-Yuck.
Hahahha
JiXiang is having a nap right now. She just ate some of her fancy baby food. She had ‘apple-kiwi-guava’ mix. Contrary to all the movies you see, this stuff actually tastes pretty good.
This coming week I am a single mom and have planned things perfect.
I HAVE ONLY ONE THING THAT NEEDS TO BE DONE!
Smart me. Private English classes have been canceled; I have no time pressures after work. Fridge is stocked and baby is ready. The only thing I MUST buy today is diapers. Gotta have a stock pile of those, let me tell ya.
My one thing to do is to fly to the post office before picking up JiXiang after work (easy as it is one block away) and do a money mail thingy for Li’s test and then mail the complete package.
Ahhhhhh…
I feel good.
