SECOND!!!!
JiXiang is days away from doing a real crawl.
She has figured out how to get her knees underneath herself properly. She can push up and her ass is sticking way in the air. Her nose doesn't crash into the ground when she does it anymore. She knows she has to push up with her arms but hasn*t got the balance thing figured out yet.
It totally frustrates her and she is constantly mumbling to herself while she is trying.
So cute.
Usually I place her on her back on the floor and go about my business. I put her bucket of toys close and when she is ready she turns over and reaches for her bucket. She chooses her toy of choice and keeps herself nicely occupied while I do everything that I have to do.
Nice times out of ten her toy of choice is the ziplock bag full of crunchy sounding but unsafe plastic. Wonderful idea from the baby book.
And she is able to pull herself halfway into a sitting position. I suspect she will be sitting properly in a few weeks.
All of this is too damn fast. It is so hard to keep up with her.
But it is fun.
