I dropped JiXiang off at daycare at 8:15am and went to work.
They phoned me at 9 to come and pick her up.

Yesterday she got a sudden fever at work and puked quite a bit. Overall she was still full of energy and fine.
Well I guess she had another big puke and they thought she should probably go to the docs.
I cancelled classes and picked her up.
Yes she puked a bit but I think she just has a little cold and it is really hot and humid today. It is rainy season now. One day it is hot and the next cold. You will go to bed sweating and wake up freezing. Doesn’t do your body good.
I didn’t bring her to the docs. She is still energetic, eating well and overall healthy. No fever, so leave her alone. I am not the type of person who believes in stuffing my kid full of antibiotics when she is not that sick. That and Li is totally against doing this. Antibiotics only if it is really necessary.
Instead we spent the day together and I got my nails done.
JiXiang and I have had a really nice day together and my nails look great.
She has even slept. Mind you that is probably because it is soooooo hooootttt!!!!!!!

Tomorrow Li’s company is having a BBQ. It is free so we are definitely going. I am not one to pass up free food.
His boss, who lives two seconds away, is picking us up tomorrow morning. Li and his boss are drinking, so I have to drive back.
I am not really looking forward to this.
I have not driven for a while and I HATE driving in Japan. The roads are all too narrow and a lot of these drivers are really scary.
Here they are taught defensive driving, not offensive like us, and they love to hit the breaks. The only time they go into offensive mode is when the lights turn yellow. If they had red light cameras like they do back home they could fix the pension deficit problem in a week.
Freaks me out.
