Today was a ‘do Li’s Japanese visa’ day.

Today is not an official holiday so the government offices were open and the immigration office was PACKED!!!!

I was pushing Li to get there before lunch time. He had to run to the city office first to get our marriage paper first. They took forever as they could not find it!! They did thank god and Li met us at the station and we were off.

We got the paper work in before noon and were told to return at maybe 2pm. We did and still waited until 3.

FOR 5 YEARS WE HAVE BEEN IN JAPAN AND NOWWWWWWWW we are finally offered a three year visa for Li and he has a boss who loves him and pays him ok. DAMN! We are still returning to Canada but now we are not under pressure which is actually a really nice feeling. Li will be given a three year visa, JiXiang has three years and I have two years left. Not that we plan on staying that long just that there is room to breathe now.

So we wandered around Shizuoka shopping and being pretty good about not buying. I did find these excellent miniature Samurai swards on a stand for only 20 bucks for my Japanese doll. They are way cool.

Li also finished off his ensemble for his kimono. He got the proper shoes and we had to go to a special kimono shop for a men’s belt. Damn thing cost more then the kimono.

Here is Li all dressed up for Halloween.

At Baby Gap we found the CUTEST little toys!! The turtle LAUGHS the most addictive laugh that makes Ji smile, and the lady bird lets out the most adorable chirping. SOOO cute.
