This whole China vs Japan thing is mind boggling!

From what I know of Japanese people and my personal opinion of the government, the Chinese can just forget it because they will never get their apology and the texts will never be changed. To do so would mean admitting that these events happened and the politicians and the crazy 'Love Japan' people will never allow that.
It makes my head shake when I hear our Western politicians and human rights groups scream about the censorship applied by the Chinese authorities. Yet, the very people call Japan their friend and ally. They fail to mention the glossing over of their history and the major censorship in Japan.
Censorship?
Read the local paper.
The reporters all belong to groups that are politically controlled. Piss of the politician and you dont get anymore news stories. The high court political appointed judges are constantly over turning lower court decisions regarding immigration, deportation, 'comfort woman'pay outs and war slave pay outs. The same government has, on many cases, intervened in the publication of news stories and even COMIC books that have mentioned historical events from the world view and not the Japanese view.
Hmmm???

The other day Li went to work and the people he works with started bitching at him about how bad and evil China is.
Li stayed quiet and when they were done he looked at them and went
- Why is it that Japan is fighting with China, Russia, Korea North and South, as well as some south Asian countries? Japan is fighting with every one. Who is the bad one? And why is it that China must apologize for them being angry when it is Japan that entered China, Korea and South Asia? None of those countries ever entered Japan.

Total silence from the gallery. No one had ever pointed that out to them before.
They have never mentioned it to Li again.
