Today was JiXiang’s one month doctor’s check.

YES!! OH MY GOD!! JiXiang is a month old already. Time is flying and she isn’t even walking yet. Scary.

So I had a looooonnnnggggg doctors visit with alllll of the other babies that were born around the same time as JiXiang. There were 33 babies there in total. I thankfully pulled number 7 but I was still there for 3 and a half hours. Ugh!

JiXiang is growing excellent. She is now 4255grams and is 54.7cm long. Her head has grown to 35cm and her chest to 36cm and she is very healthy. The doctor was very happy with her growth and she has no problems as far as he is concerned.

I felt tons better as a mother seeing that she has actually grown. I felt ten million times prouder as a parent when I compared her to the other babies in the waiting room. I have been comparing her to Jean’s baby but Rae is a whole month older then JiXiang so it has been an unfair comparison. I am proud to say that my baby looks bigger and seems ten times more alert and expressive then the other children (hehehe) But it is true! She was also ten million times quieter.

Breastfeeding in public is still considered a no go zone over here but I don’t give a shit. My kid is hungry so I feed her. I am not whipping it out and announcing it to everyone! My kid is happy and sleeping, everyone else’s babies are crying their heads off. This one old grandma kept leaning over and looking at me while I was feeding her. I ignored her. Hell! My breast was covered! You couldn’t see anything. The other woman waited until they were in this sectioned off area where you had to sit on the floor it feed. No thanks! The waiting chairs worked quite fine thank you.
