Well I just had a great class.
Dont know if it was good for him but it was for me. I guess it was very good for him as it was all conversation and involved a lot of explaining as to WHY?
It was a class talking about the two cars that Li and I were looking at. Very informal for me. I have been worried about the prices vs the year vs the kilometers on the car. In Canada I have a pretty good sense of this, but in Japan I have no clue how the market stands on this area and I am really set on buying a car that will not break down in two years.
He says that the small car is very good in the year vs Km but that the price is a bit high for his liking. The larger car is good in all three though. The problem with the larger car is that next years car tax is 300 bucks verses only 70 bucks for the small car. The other problem is that I am short and have to really check to see if I can drive it safely.
He would like to drive us around to some other car dealers. I would like that but we need to find good times. That and I am worried about the financing problem. With Kouru I have that in, but at another place I am just another foreigner that no one trusts.
I was also looking at our finances with the idea of paying off a car as fast as we could, for example in 6 months rather than 18, as Li has a definite guaranteed job for the next 11months. He has been told that another year is very, very possible but not guaranteed. Speed looks much safer in this situation.
Hmmm
Just more to think about and worry about.
It doesn't help that Li has been in his, I- am- tired- and- only- want- to- read- the- Chinese- news- on- the- Internet- rather- than- talk- to- you, phase. Makes me all batty!!!
