Well as I had expected things have worked out better for Li.
I had this feeling that once he started working and meeting people and that Oh-my-god-a-chinese-man barrier broke his transportation problems would be solved. I was right, and much faster than I had anticipated.
Li is good at starting a conversation with total strangers. He was great in Canada that way. Well he has met some people that actually live in Fujieda but work a different schedule. They can drive him home though, when he finishes early. He also met some older guys who live in Rokugo, a five minute train ride away, and they can take him and bring him home most days. So all has worked well for him and he was in pretty good spirits this morning even though it was 6 am.
The 6 am thing is killing me. UGH!

As for Tintin, hmmmm

Z and K recommend sending her home. I asked Myrna by email if that is ok but will get an answer later. Either way I have been looking into it. I have already spent 400$ getting the cat spayed. It might cost some where around 300$ to ship her. In all it is MUCH cheaper than being forced to move. TEN ZILLION times cheaper. I have not found a taker for her yet but I am still sending out word just in case. I am going to put up some posters at the supermarkets tonight as well as the vets, and my friend Jean recommended a couple of pet food stores. That will keep me busy this weekend.

Jean came back from Canada. She is my buddy from the east coast. She went home for a one month visit. She is 4 weeks more pregnant than me so it is kind of cool.
I knew that I should wait until she came back and I talked to her before I went baby shopping. I was right. She is on her second kid and considerably more practical than me in many ways. My Japanese friends have told me to go shopping at the recycle shops, well she said dont even do that, WAIT. I will probably end up with a lot of gifts of used stuff from people. She had gotten tons. Some were given and some were loaned. So wait!! What I need to do is look into the car rental thing. That is actually more important.
AUGH! Soooo much to do!a

Just had lunch and had my boss do another lecture thing about Tintin. Now he is saying that the rental company wants us to move. I said no, I was told the cat must move or we must move. I am trying. He goes not have to MUST. Ya I know.
He wants to talk more after work. About what!?!?! Is he going to take her?!?!?! I can not throw her out the door for christ sakes!!

FedEx wont ship her and the airplane travel agency has nothing to do with that that stuff. UGH! Another tactic....
Asked a student to phone another shipping company for me.
AUGH! Stress is setting in....
I have been trying to get a hold of Kelly and ask if he will put her up until I can find something more permanent. He might do that for me. There is a risk of her being hit by a car but right now I will take that risk. But there is no answer....
SHIT!
