Wednesday, March 24, 2004 Here is an interesting BBC site on World Migration. I find the BBC wed site quite informative. The CBC is also excellent with some excellent links. The CBC won an award for their set up and they deserved it personally. The CNN site is not overly well set up and personally a little biased. I learn more about the world from the other two sites. It was around October of last year that I decided on my new years resolution - MEMEMEMEMEME!!! Basically it was to add a few more vitamins to my diet and a bit more exercise. I am proud to say that I have kept this resolution. I take my multi-vitamin as well as my extra doss of vitamin B to help me with my always present stress. I have also found a calcium pill that does not make me sick and have improved my intake of yogurt to help with the calcium problem. Being allergic to milk can really suck. I have also been going to the gym a few times a week and even though it feels good my weight has not changed a single pound. I am killing myself on the stair climber and rowing machine with only a TINY bit of weights put in. CARDIO has been my moto. Hasn*t bloody worked though. But I am not quitting I am sticking to it and am actually quite proud of my self. Well part of my change has been to guzzle a lot more water. I dont drink as much as I should, I know but I am making an effort to try. The problem is that I did inherit a terrible bladder from moms side of the family and I dont forgive her for that. UGH! This has brought on a new realization as to how odd my body is - green tea gives me an odd reaction. Now I like green tea and it is very healthy for you but I have discovered that within approximately 2 minutes of having finished only a half a tea cup of green tea my bladder if about to explode. It is IMMEDIATE. Not a good situation when you are teaching. Hehhe The plus side is that this saves money on cranberry juice as it is blastedly expensive over here.
