I am in a very bad fucking mood at the moment!!!!
Swearing!!! I dont care!!!
I asked my boss, and the organizer of English for Sumitomo, to buy a text book for my students. It looked like a perfect book. It was all about different business cultures around the world. How you address people, whether you shake hands, how you eat with them. The basic common courtesies that are required to do business with people from other cultures.
We are expanding all over the world and do business with a huge variety of different people.
Great book they tell me but there is no money in the budget to buy it.
IT IS A 30$ BOOK WITH A 50$ TAPE!!!! BIG FLIPPING DEAL!!!!!
And then my friends ask me why I buy so many text books for work all the time. WHY??? So that I can bloody teach!!!!
I am sooooo pissed. This is a tad bit of foreshadowing of what is going to happen when I demand, there is no asking involved, a raise. It is either a raise or I quit as this has reached the level of bullshit and has gone beyond the point or rudeness and abuse. I am soooo pissed right now.

Yesterday my accountant student told me about his weekend union meeting as he is involved with it. I of course innocently inquired with many questions about how all the shit works, conversation class ya know. Well, bit of an eye opener!! The people of Sumitomo and of the Union have agreed that the economy sucks right now so pay raises have been put on hold. To offset this no raise thing the union continually demands for bonus raises. Everyone who is a company worker (I am not) receives two bonuses a year, each basically equivalent to one months pay. I do not receive this bonus and yet I also dont receive a raise. I am bitching away right now but I will be bitching all day. I am not in a very good mood at the moment.
Grrrrrrrrrr.......
