This is going to be one VERY long blog.
I am going to post it in sections so that it doesn't look so scary. Probably won?ft help though. Hehehe.
This is about our trip to Canada.
We had a really good time.

I had decided long before we left that I wanted Li to experience a lot while we were there and I wanted to be a tourist in my own country for the first time ever. I am not regretting that now. I am happy with everything that we did, I wish we had had more time to spend with certain people and to visit others that we didn?ft get to see but they will definitely be on the list next time. (Please don?ft ask when next time is, I have no idea yet.)

We took off on Monday evening September 8th to Nagoya with no problems. We hooked up with Lis friend Fun who lives in Nagoya for school and we went for dinner and a drink. We had a relaxing and enjoyable time. We had decided to stay at a cheap love-hotel and we checked in with no problems. A love-hotel is just a normal hotel that tends to be a bit cheaper and have few little frills and gimmicks to play with. This hotel was not overly nice but acceptable. There was even a very freaky vending machine with things that I thankfully don?ft know how to use. We got up early and headed off to the airport via taxi as the bus wasn't running yet. Picked up our suitcase, checked in and were off.

After a very bloody long airplane ride (2.5 hours to Taipei, then 10.5 to Vancouver) we got to Vancouver at 9:30ish Tuesday morning.

Dad was waiting for us and we were off to visit Grandpa Oskar. That was nice. He looks amazing. Grandma was there and we had a nice short visit. Then we ate a very required lunch. Airplane food SUCKS!
It was pretty obvious very quickly that Li had been hit very hard by jet lag. He had never been in an airplane for that long before and had never crossed time zones before. He was dying. He passed out almost instantly in the car and then again at dads house. I fought the jet lag every step and turned into a whirlwind. But it eventually caught up with me and a nap was required.
The next few days involved some clothes shopping - jeans were on our list - , the doctors and all those little things.?@
We also checked out the Harrison Sand Castles. They were VERY cool.
We spent a few nights at my mother?fs house in Harrison.
