::Author::  Name::Andrea From::Small city/town, B.C., Canada I am a short girl from the west cost of BC, Canada and I am a proud Canadian. I went to Japan in 2000 because my Dad told me I would regret it for the rest of my life if I didn't. He was right. I lived a good life found my husband from the other side of the world and have a beautiful daughter. Basically we lead a pretty normal life filled with normal ups and downs. We both come from different cultures: me Canadian, him Chinese. Living in Japan was a real eye opener about who I am and about the people I associate myself with. I lived and loved in Japan but the time to move on came upon us and in May of 2006 we left and moved to Canada: a huge move for us all. We are now trying to start up again, remodel our lives and create our future for our family. I now feel like a tourist in the country of my birth, my eyes see different and my life will be forever changed. Saturday, October 11, 2003 So on Friday night I played darts for the first time ever. I actually don’t suck so that was cool. Then last night I had a last dinner and English class with my Saturday night class. They have had to cancel due to the fact that every one is sooooo busy and attendance is starting to suck. We had a good dinner though. Then we went out to kereoke and I decided that seeing as this was a last day thing I would actually sing. Hehehe I suck!! I sang Billy Joel’s Piano Man and Eurythmics, Missionary Man. Hehehe, both songs not really singing just talking. YA!!! Today all of our sweaters are getting a few hours outside to air and no longer stink of stale air. Our long wool jackets are also airing out and everything has been sprayed with febreeze. Unfortunately the weather is a tad blaa right now but it isn’t really raining which is good. The other day I was a very bad girl and went on the Amazon pages. Hehehe I ordered a CD and the second season of CSI from Amazon Canada and from Amazon Japan I ordered a book. Got here in 2 days with no shipping cost. I am starting to really like Amazon Japan. I got ‘The Da Vinci Code’. Write up looked interesting so what the hell. Li is not talking to me right now as I refused to listen to his conspiracy story last night. The Internet is great but sometimes there is a load of crap on it. Well Li read some crap that had his head turning. The crap states that Sars was not a natural occurring disease and was actually biological warfare aimed only at Chinese people because only Chinese people died and not anyone else. I told him he was talking crap and that I refused to discuss anything so ludicrously stupid with him. So I went to bed early. Moron. This is what happens when you read the Internet and drink beer at the same time. AUGH!!! ZEN Language has limitations whereas truth has none. To try to apprehend the truth through language is to stray further away from it.
