Li came home last night from work absolutely exhausted.
Two people quit and a third was transferred to another restaurant because it needed a manager type person. Li's work load has gone way up and now he is in a dilemma as to whether or not he should take on a second job or not. Hmmm.
He starts work at 3 this afternoon and works till last. Basically his bosses words are that they trust Li totally so they dont want to hire any more company workers when they have Li there already.
For Li this is a good thing and it does make him very happy that they want to trust and rely on him. He wants to be there for them. On a negative note I think that it does kind of piss him off as they wont make him a company worker and will only continue to classify him as a part time worker because he is Chinese. That and they wont sponsor his visa. Pisses me off a tad as well.
I told him that if he thinks that his boss will give him all these hours for a long time and not only for a month, then I dont think he should take on another job. It is up to him though. They did give him a 200$ bonus on his last pay cheque for work well done. Hmmm. He has to think now.
I am going home for lunch today. With this new schedule I will never see him so I have to go home at lunch a few days a week. His only day off is a Wednesday and I teach on Wednesday night. Ugh.

I felt like garbage all weekend. I think I was fighting a flu. It never really hit though. I had achy legs and back and my stomach would not stop talking, yet nothing was happening. I just watched movies, slept and ate soup all weekend. But today, up to this point, I feel fairly good, except for the headache that is threatening me at the base of my skull. I think I am going to hit that one right now.

Hmm.... talk later.
Ohh and my holiday hours have kicked in. I am up to 14 days now. Cool!
