Last night while I was biking to my English class I saw my friend Chika out of the corner of my eye at this ABC Cooking school near my house.
I was a little surprised. There was no way she was taking class as she is an amazing chef so I had this funny feeling that she was teaching. If this was true that would explain why I hadn't heard anything as people tend to be very secretive about their outside Sumitomo activities.

Now Chika's a neat girl. She has been married for about two years and she is bubbly and friendly. She speaks very basic English but she was always very helpful for me when I first came. I haven't been able to see much of her or talk to her much since she got transferred to another building but she is always full of smiles.

I have always liked her since she told me about locking her husband out of the house one day when he quite his job only because he was bored. She actually locked him out for a whole month she was so pissed at him. I love a Japanese girl with a bit of crass and kick ass attitude. Hehe

Well I saw her at lunch and cornered her today asking her if she was teaching at the school. She immediately told me to speak very quietly.
Yes she is teaching and to make things even cooler she is actually going to quit at Sumitomo and pursue her love of cooking by teaching. She also has so many people that already phone her up to do baking for them for parties and as gifts that she is going to divide her time between a home business of baking and teaching at the school.
I am soooo happy for her and told her so.

I wish her the best!!!!
She is such a good person she can only succeed and I know that she will actually succeed on her own.
I will also keep her phone number very handy for any baking requirements needed in the future.
Hehehehe
She is a damn good cook.
