::Author::  Name::Andrea From::Small city/town, B.C., Canada I am a short girl from the west cost of BC, Canada and I am a proud Canadian. I went to Japan in 2000 because my Dad told me I would regret it for the rest of my life if I didn't. He was right. I lived a good life found my husband from the other side of the world and have a beautiful daughter. Basically we lead a pretty normal life filled with normal ups and downs. We both come from different cultures: me Canadian, him Chinese. Living in Japan was a real eye opener about who I am and about the people I associate myself with. I lived and loved in Japan but the time to move on came upon us and in May of 2006 we left and moved to Canada: a huge move for us all. We are now trying to start up again, remodel our lives and create our future for our family. I now feel like a tourist in the country of my birth, my eyes see different and my life will be forever changed. Monday, May 26, 2003 BECK!! If you read this scroll down to the comments box where you asked me about how to make comments. Z answered your question for you. I just want to take this moment to say that Z AND NILS KICK ASS!!!!!!!!!!!! They just sent me the bestest gift and I really want to hug them. AUGH!!!!!!! I now have your address you two so be prepared for something coming your way. You guys just rock!!! I got a double wammy of gifts today. One from them and the other from me. hehehe Amazon order arrived. I ordered this excellent looking beautifully laid out Chinese learning text that I am sure I will use. It is designed for idiots and in large easy to read print. Looks great, I am actually excited about it. I am more excited about the two CDs I ordered. Norah Jones – come away with me Natalie Cole – Ask a Woman who knows. I am listening to Norah right now and loving it. Her voice is so sexy. I haven’t popped in Natalie yet but the review that I had, read in a woman’s magazine, made me think it was going to be incredible. Mom and Dad when Li and I buy a new fandangle computer with a CD burner I will send stuff your way. WOW! I also noticed a poster for an Asian Drums concert here in Fujieda in two weeks that I am going to!! I LOVE Asian Drums. The giant Japanese drums that make me tremble inside. grrrr. I am also awaiting fixing on the blog page. They had some sort of problem. I have started making it a habit to check the news section first as computers are wonderful but suck on a regular occasion.
