Happy New Year everyone!!!!

I don't know about the rest of you but I brought in the new year sitting in a hot bath with lavender salts reading a decent mystery novel with a glass of pop. Ya no champagne.

Lill'Miss and I picked up hubby from work at almost 11pm and we headed home and I headed straight to the bathtub while Lill'Miss slept and hub called his parents.

I was feeling a little melancholy and down yesterday after work finished. We have a few issues on the table not yet settled and some extra things on our plate. We bought most of the pieces needed to finish the basement ceiling now we just need the energy to put it up. I was hoping we would do it today but hubby just informed me that he refuses to do anything today. Sigh.

It will get done eventually.

And so starts yet another new year. It will be interesting to see what sort of curve balls this one throws our way. LOL. Last year was Year of the Bull. I am a bull and it proved to be an 'interesting" year for me. This new year is Year of the Tiger. Well hub is a tiger and it is going to be interesting to say the least.
