a lot of catching up to do

Where to begin. It has been a while since I have done a real post.

To start things off Lil'Miss Ji decided she didn't want to wear a diaper anymore today. After being punched and kicked I decided fine, don't wear one. This would be all fine and dandy except she is also going through a phase where she refuses to go anywhere near the toilet.
The result?
I have maybe two pairs of clean pants felt for here, she peed twice on the TV room floor and actually stood on top of the coffee table and peed on top of it.
Ya. It has been a wonderful day.

I did spend most of it outside gardening and making friends with my neighbour. Lil'Miss Ji made friends with her son. We were invited to one of those home party tings. It is for a product I haven't heard of before so should be interesting.

Last weekend my dear friend CF one tickets off the radio to the West Coast Woman's Show. Basically it is a woman's product convention. It was fun collecting all the free stuff and entering a million draws.
Haven't one anything yet, blaa, but I did get a makeover, very cool and I got my eyebrows threaded.
I LOVE MY EYEBROWS!

Ok so I owe some photos here.

Here is a picture of Lil'Miss Ji's bedroom closet. My mom gave her these windows curtain thingys she had and we hung them as closet doors using two shower curtain rods and these funky red flower shower curtain holders. It works really well and we don't loose the mental space by having solid doors there.

Here is our painted basement with the baseboards on. We are still short some wall cabinetry but we have a few things in mind and it will all work out really well. We love this room.

Here are the flower arrangements that my moms boyfriends sister brought with her to Thanksgiving dinner. The ladies at the party all got to take one home. They were lovely!

Here is our table with the leaf in it for the first time decorated for Thanksgiving dinner. Hubby cooked TWO turkeys that weekend and I forgot to take a photo of both. Oops.

I am going to make a grand attempt to check in on my most often checked bloggers and try to write myself at least once a week but don't hold your breath. I start school again on Tuesday and for the next month I am going to be going crazy!
