Home early today

JiXiang got sent home from daycare this afternoon with a high fever.
She was happy to see me and in a cranky mood. I brought her home, gave her some Baby Tylenol and hugged her tight for a while.
Within an hour she had napped and her temperature had dropped a whole degree.
She still was a little cranky so I gave her some food and put a damp cloth on the back of her neck while she slept in my arms again. I played on the internet and finished my picture album for
KenMin no Mori

I took a lot of pictures, as usual.
Had fun doing it though.

JiXiang woke up and ate a TON more food. She horfed down a baby yogurt and a small jar of Gerber Baby. I didn’t want to give her any chew food because I have this funny feeling that her fever is because of new teeth.
I am pretty sure I am right.
The last time she got sent home with a fever there were two new teeth poking though the next morning.
One tooth does not seem to create huge amounts of problems for her, but two teeth at the same time is system overload.
Understandable.
She just had a bath, is very active and is bopping to ‘Tragically Hip’ with me, while her daddy cooks some dinner.
Dinner is served.
I will see if I am right about JiXiang tomorrow.
Tomorrow she gets her polio drops. I am bringing her so I have the day off.
