I just got terrible news.
UGH!
My boss dude, Mr. Takezaki, is being transferred to head office January 1. SHIT!!
This guy has been really good to me the past 3 years and has looked after me. He basically told me that as long as he is around I have a job because as far as he is concerned I do a good one and the company NEEDS an English teacher on hand. Now I am loosing him. He doesn't know if the new guy, a Mr. K something, can even speak English. Mr. T speaks great English. shifffff

Deep down I had a funny feeling it was going to happen though. There seems to be a three year unwritten clause for most managers around here. Well his three is up. He main assistant to everything involving me is only on 2 years though. Hopefully he does not follow soon. I dont think so though. The guy before Mr. M, another Mr. M, was a total idiot. His English was terrible and he never came to class. He also kept screwing up my paper work. The new Mr. M is much more organized and quadruple checks everything if it involves visa stuff or anything to do with me and the totally confusing Japanese government.

One of the great things about Mr. T was that he had worked in Singapore for a few years and understood all the Japanese BS about visas and how weird other governments can be about visas. Made life so much easier.

Yes I know I shouldn*t panic as I am leaving soon but I was pretty sure I could discuss the Canadian visa time problems with Mr. T quite easily. I have to resign in April and I might be leaving by June. Dont know what to do about it all now. I had a plan but the entire thing has been thrown in the garbage. I hope I can meet this Mr. K soon and use my evil woman's radar to try to assess what type of man he really is.
I just pray he can speak English.
