I love my husband but some times he can be a huge stupid idiot.
Stupid, stupid, stupid stupid!!!

He got this bright idea on Monday be be a knight in shinning armor. Not for me - ohhh noooo!

He phoned me after work on Monday saying he was in Shizuoka and going to be late. I was furious at him as the house was a mess and I had to teach that night. We had a tad of a fight.
I then called him many hours later to remind him that he had a job interview in the morning.
His voice was very different and he said he couldn't come home that night as something had happened. He couldn't tell me about it on the phone as there were other people there. I of course get a tad cranky thinking he is in jail. He goes no no no dont worry I will see you tomorrow.
I was livid!
I get home from work yesterday breathing deeply in hopes to not remove skin from my husbands body. One look at him turned my rage into shock and horror.
He had quite obviously had the SHIT kicked out of him.
WHAT HAPPENED!!!!!

My stupid husband. UGH!!

He had gotten a phone call from Tsu`s cousin (TC) asking him to please quickly come to Shizuoka as he had a huge problem and needed Li`s help to deal with it. He could not explain on the phone. Well Li, with the inability to say no to a friend, immediately hoped on the train.
Well it turns out that TC has been very worried about this Chinese girl that he works with. Now he is a bar tender at a hostess bar that offers a few extra on the side services. There is a Chinese girl there that Li knows, I have met and TC kind of likes. Well she has been missing for 3 days and he was starting to worry. \he found her being held basically hostage by her crazy Chinese boyfriend who had beaten the shit out of her and done who knows what else to her. TC obviously wanted her out of there.
My first reaction was call the cops.
But no she is illegal and does not have a visa cause she is an idiot.
So because Li had met this guy before he assumed, stupidly, that he could talk to him about this. They went to the door and went in. Li started talking to him while TC carried the girl out. She couldn't walk.
Well my first thing to Li was that a man crazy enough to do that to a woman can not be talked to you always call the cops.
Well he went ballistic. Quite literally. Li looks like he got run over by a truck. The guy even took a knife to him! A KNIFE!!! My husband has a slice, that should have gotten stitches, on his neck!!!! I was not happy about this.
The guy even kicked him when he was down.
At some point Li actually had enough sense, and time, to remove his shirt and wrap an ash tray in it which he proceeded to use as a battering ram and actually split the guys head open.
A good shirt too.
At this point the guy calmed down. The idiot even asked Li to be his friend as now he respected him for fighting him. Li just shook his head and left.
I was so angry at him for this. He goes - what would you have done if it was your friend and she had no visa.
I WOULD CALL THE DAMN COPS!!!!
Even though it would mean she gets kicked out of the country the asshole would be in jail. Now he is free to do this to another girl!! And the girl is probably going to have this happen to her again because of her chosen profession and because she is illegal. At least in China she has family and she is not illegal.
He didn't have anything to say about that. He knew I was right.
He just whispered - I thought I could talk to him.
By some miracle his teeth are all where they belong and his nose is not broken. An even bigger miracle is that he is not dead!!
And a huge miracle is that he went to the job interview looking like something out of the living dead and he thinks he got the job. They copied his passport and info and told him they would call him today with his time table for work next week.
Stupid.
He is soooooo lucky I love him. I was sooo angry at him and then so disgusted.
I am calm now.
