It is Sunday evening right now.
Kim and I went to Shizuoka to an art show. This very good Japanese artist named Morikazu Kumagai. He was born in 1880 and only just died a few years ago. He was VERY old. And he painted almost up to the last day of his life. Very interesting stuff. Kim liked his latest stuff but I liked his earlier stuff.

Yesterday I taught my kids class. I was so happy as they had not forgotten anything. AHHH…

Then I was off to the dentist. This proved to be a huge ordeal. I knew there was something wrong. It has felt wrong for the last few weeks and this last week has been terrible. There was actually more pain at night. UGH! Well I had done it real good. I had a cavity under a filling that was beginning to get dangerously deep. Not to the point of a root cancel, but on its way there. He explained things to me in pictures. In Japan cavities are classified as a C1,C2,C3 and a C4. C4 is the worst. Well mine was a C2 bordering on a C3. UGH! I was also panicking because the last time I had the freezer stuff I reacted with some SERIOUS shakes and my Canadian doctor put a big allergy stamp on my file. I told my Japanese doctor this and he was a bit worried but explained things to me. The last time I had had the stuff was 6 years ago and in that time the freezer gunk has come a long way. Needle changes and it is much more controlled. He said that before the doses tended to me much higher and administered too fast due to a much larger needle. We gave it a try and I am happy to say NO PROBLEMS. Well he dug out my tooth and there isn’t anything left of it. He grabbed the mirror for me to show me and I almost had a heart attack. There was only an outside wall left the entire center was gone. Oh My God! Then he said that because of the size and possible further pain he did not want to remove my tooth (good) but he wanted to remove the tooth pulp. Didn’t even know what that was so he had to explain that as well. Suprisingly no pain and he showed it, which was really weird. Now I have a tooth stuffed with wax and have to return maybe three more times to have it cleaned and shit before they put the new filling on it. Everything yesterday cost me only 23$. I love my medical!!
And he said that Li’s medical card was good and he could get his teeth cleaned for only 10$. YA!!! Now I have to convince Li to do it.

Now the bad news.
Li’s job interview got moved up to yesterday and didn’t work out. Turns out they knew he was a foreigner but not that he was Chinese. SOOO!!! Well they did not want Chinese. They actually told him that if he weren’t Chinese he would have had the job. He was not very happy. It took him three hours before he said he was pissed off. He then started over analyzing things and thinks that his face is too unfriendly and that people think he is dangerous and are scared of him. I don’t know where he gets this stuff from but that is what his over thinking brain is doing right now.
I noticed a new place called JobSearch where you can sign up and stuff and companies go to them looking for workers and not the other way around. My work has been using this a lot. They were very positive and helpful. Li filled out all the paper work and I made sure that he told hem he could speak basic English. This looked good in their eyes. Hopefully something comes of that.
He is better now but he was pissed off yesterday.

We just went shopping for diner stuff and he is cooking. YA!!
Tomorrow I do my driver license and we go shopping for the ingredients to make our own plum wine!!!
